The year is 2027 and the city of Kyoto is transitioning to new technologies. In this city, Naomi Katagaki, a shy and introverted boy who loves books, and Ruri Ichigyou, a cold girl who often behaves bluntly with others, but loves books like him, live. Despite their similar inclinations, Naomi refrains from approaching Ruri due to her unfriendly attitude. One day, when Naomi goes for a walk, a red halo tears through the sky for a moment and then disappears. Shortly after, Naomi sees a three-legged crow and a mysterious man wearing a hood who claims to be Naomi himself, come from ten years in the future to prevent an unfortunate event that will happen to Ruri. The present-day Naomi, with his initial doubts, decides to save Ruri, following the orders of his future self, and goes to get close to Ruri. Hello World revolves around the present-day Naomi alongside his ten-years-older self. With the help of his future self, Naomi begins to set the stage for saving Ruri. Can he change the future?
